might go back to get some of 'The Sunday's', black grape and catherine wheel, depends on how the day ends tomorrow. Here is today's lift tales still fresh in my memory. i entered a fairly packed lift to go down for lunch. Everyone was probably shell shocked to hear a passenger say marijuana is so passe and P (acid/amphetamines) is the new high, obviously intended for her friend but loud enough for all other passengers to shoot darting stares over. it's ok to experiment but not to make it routine.

sat down at a food court (yes! Auckland has food courts) waiting for my fried beef noodles when i overheard (not eavesdropping) an arguing couple (am asian woman and a kiwi bloke) she was quite pissed and like all men when in trouble, just kept quiet. Anyway my attention quickly turned to the opposite table which sat 3 huge guys. 2 were having sushi and the other meats/veges/potatoes. The guy caught my attention because he was eating his fried chicken with a plastic fork and knife. Through my experiences during house parties with plastic forks and knives, they never work. So i waiting for him to figure out that you can never cut into chicken properly with them plastic utensils. Soon enough he gave up and true to Colonel Sanders "it's finger lickin good", which prompted a smirk from me, which could be mistaken for a totally gay come on (luckily it didn't)

Then it was off for a haircut, if there is one type of customer that i totally hate are Indians who think they come from Great Britain but actually North of Calcutta. So this dickhead is in front of me, the stench of his cologne overpowers the small saloon, i feel uncomfortable sitting next to him especially when the cologne is to cover up his uncompromising body odour. His turn arrives and he says," yo, where are the other guys?" he gets a response from the barber saying that they're out for lunch. He goes,"ok i want this short, ok? when i say short this time, i mean short, ok?" with fingers gesturing. here i am thinking,"hey mate, he cuts hair, you sure you wanna piss him off before he begins?" i've actually met a few of these buggers around, they have a foul stench of confidence often represented as arrogance and it's probably safe for me to say, "once an Indian, always an Indian ... no matter the education or location"

of course my experiences with Indians have never been good, just recently i purchased a USB2.0 PCMCIA card for my aging powerbook so that i can transfer data faster between my ipod and 3.5 external disk. The vendor, Sunny from Christchurch advertised the card as MAC OSX capable blah blah, so it was pretty safe because i'm just worried that it maybe a VIA card meant for PC's. Paid $28 for it. After it didn't arrive after 4 days, i instantly knew this is going to be a trouble trade. it turned out that the fuckers downstairs were keeping my box and not informing me. Idiots this would never happen with the old management. Anyway plugged in the card, i already knew that it will never detect because the box says win98,2000, XP. So..where the fuck is the mac OSX support?

i ended up getting a DLINK which works and for $25. he left a happy face comment on my account, gee whiz of course he did, motherfucker! he sold me something other than what i want. I emailed him and told him it arrived but it doesn't work. no replies. so onto more drastic measures, i had already given up returning the item. So i gave him a neutral feedback saying that he should check if the product works. Of course, very defensively he retracted his happy face comment and changed to a neutral one
saying that he has sold countless units and no one has complained and it's totally my fault not the product.

my reply to you mr. Sunny Shammossa is, you should check and look at your products before advertising them. if you mentioned that it works on Mac OSX, then it should work. But when the packaging/box doesn't even mention mac OSX support then you shouldn't really put that up right? Of course he didn't bother to answer. Vendors don't check because they don't have a Mac to check so i'm not blaming your resources but your common sense. if you're stupid enough to sell me something without reading the label on your products, how soon you think you're gonna repeat your mistake? and no one person is the same. So i'm looking forward to you dealing with that situation and i will be watchin ya.

i'm not angry because the card is being utilised by another PC but this just reinforces the Indian theory. What Indian theory? go ask someone who doesn't tar roads for a living or doesn't smell like ghee.
