where in the area of social context does it require you to speak with "twang", and "slang" and whatever the fuck you call it nowadays when in the presence of socialites?

who are they trying to impress? themselves or other people's general perception of the poser?

why am i so uptight about this?

i just came back from a christmas party in ampang. god fuck all, the place already indicates poser alert; how the fuck did i fall for it? met a group of 20 somethings in the lift.

girl: what did you guys bring la (it was a potluck)
me : umm curry chicken
girl : you guys going to the same party?
me: rite ... seems so
girl: ok cool la

*ting* the lift doors open.
girl: oh darliiiinnggs ...muak muak muak (in fad cheek kissing)im sorry im late, u know?
other girls: oh hi darling ... muak muak muak (refer to above)you should try the potato salad, it's marvelousssss!
girl: ohhh realllly?

me: eh since when the fuck this girl was from UK? just now in the lift she sounded like from SS2 only?

girl: oh my god, this cat is like totally ..cute ..totally!
other girl: eww stop playing with it, darling. you're going to kill it.
girl: oh my god, i totally gotta get me one of these ...oh my god they're sooo cute ..totally.

me: my house behind got damn a lot of fuckin pussies ..you want?

girl: like do i know you?
me: hmmph ....

(the last part is exaggerated because i never really talked to her after the lift; in any case why would i?)

so sad .. to all posers or wannabe posers or if you think that you're not a poser but actually you are, just be yourself. if people can't accept you for being you then you have no reason to call them friend .... even though in the context of socialisation.
