updating updates on this date

i realise that i haven't yet have an update for a couple of months, most of it is rants (damn you labels!) so i'll try to summarise as best i can.

1. i'm pretty much bought my first and last shirts from threadless dot com. they were today glorified by him today during a industry meet up session. Mr.Lee (he's white not yellow) sums up the perils of mixing up science and art (ala josh davis) in today's creative industry. Excuse me, Mr Lee (i feel funny saying that!) but chaos flash just says i have no rationale and idea for this, so i used my math skills to create this script and it builds the creativity for me. Thats not being creative, it means pretending to be high art for the sake of being pretentious, darling!?! For a company designing online presence, he managed to show his threadless design submissions, which i try to frequently ask, "is he selling tees? no of course, he's a web designer/ chaos artist (whatever the fuck that meant)

2. i've finished writing the entire exegesis (if you want to know what it means look down couple of lines) with changes of course. grammatical errors, spelling mistakes, fucked up formatting and the layout to make of course. the document is already formatted in M$haft word but no-no-no monsieur, it must look pretty (damn you KH Tan!). :: An exegesis is an explanation of key context and ideas in your project:: did you get that? it means a bunch of words that explains why the fuck you're making the project. and of course what makes it so special.

3. i'm sort of caught in a dilemma. i met up with Murray McKeich from RMIT late last week, Murray was one of the RMIT visiting lecturers who used to frequent LKW's off shore EDM course. So he was asking me if i was interested in a PHD at RMIT. whoa whoa back the fuck up! i haven't finished the MA, i'm tired and i need at least a year or more away from theory, books, discourse and old hacks bombarding you with BIG words. But i love the prospect of working at RMIT. imagine the shock when i become the visiting lecturer, oh the look on mikey's face! But AUT sensing an invading RMIT, put in a foot to jam that dream, "listen julian, we want to see how we can secure your services. haha. good one. so now i have options, but who will offer the better deal. is the 'devil in black' interested in putting an offer in somewhere? i feel so wanted suddenly, it's surreal.

4. i realised i can't wear white shoes. i went to a puma retail outlet on the weekend. Puma's for no more than $50, fuck! everyone went crazy. anyway i tried the white puma, the first thing it reminded me of was secondary school. fuck no! i was tempted but no. i'm quite happy with the Nike Internationalist.

5. oh and i bought a Panasonic home theater 5.1 system for $25 on trademe. seriously. now even china can't beat that, yah?
