tunes update

i had wanted to publish this entry for quite a bit, but i thought i'd wait for some newer albums. let's start with musical letdowns

downers:
1. The killers - sam's town ++ oh my god, what bullshit is this! why the fuck did brandon flowers grow a moustache? seriously i can't pick out a decent tune to commend; i'm making a fuss, a hot fuss dammit. bring me back natalie!

neither here nor there but getting somewhere:
1. Audioslave - revelations; one of the tracks that i constantly play on the ipod is "be yourself" <- fuckin great tune especially the wah wah's but i guess their newest LP needs more time, i need to take the repeat off that song and start listening to their whole album. "Original fire" and "revelations" is catchy. i personally like "sound of the gun" and "until we fall". the album is quite bluesy, which is not bad thing but just needs time to get used to.

2. Muse -black holes and revlations; what the fuck is it with revelations? knights of cydonia is a really funny video, "super massive black hole" has a very infectious tunes. In my books they're like 5% away from my uppers list (actually i'll upgrade them to the uppers list after re-listening to "assassin")

uppers:
1. peaches - this is the kinda shit i'm talkin about. backyard room electro trash. there's just something about trashy "fuck your momma" music and me. standout tracks - "fuck the pain away", "kick it" with iggy pop.

2. little birdy aussie outfit from perth. :) considering that there's nothing much to do in Perth, they sound pretty good. standout tracks - "come on come on"
