venting frustration

i have to say this.

all we NZ based football fanatics need for 3 weeks is non stop live shows beamed to our idiot boxes being in the confines of the lounge or a cold damp garage. BUT

..noooo..

you have to beam fucking rugby on SKYSPORTS#1 all day. day in day out. all we need is 3 fucking weeks, then you can have your precious rugby back but ...noooo...

3 fucking sports channels beaming rugby and a separate dedicated rugby channel, yet the world cup coverage is secondary. why the fuck do we need some many rugby channels?

i ended up going to the casino with a Malaysian student sitting at the slots watching free cable. yet despite the huge crowd built up in front of the BIG screen, there's still over-zealous fucks shouting "WHERE'S THE RUGBY, OWWW?". heh here it is, take your oval ball and shove it! sucka.

just because the All Shites 'whoops' Whites - NZ's national soccer :) team aren't in any world cup contention like their aussie brothers and it's not the national sport, there isn't any urgency BUT when a kiwi wins something, the BUZZ changes i.e. prior to mickey campbell winning his US OPEN 2005, no kiwi gave a shit about him. Now he's their national hero and even knighted by the Queen of England. Sounds pretty much like Malaysia.
