it seems a lot of musicians are coming up with double albums, more recently Red Hot Chili Peppers with Stadium Arcadium, damn. i'd admit that it double listening pleasure, but it also costs more than a single album. nevertheless, it isn't a bad album, it's a different album from blood sugar sex magik and a different direction from one hot minute and by the way. it's the closest they've sound to califonication. Expect the same funky basslines from Flea with John Frusciante's swirling guitar work. They sound softer, more funky and more soulful, which is a good thing. Shows progression and diversity. well i'm only on my 1st CD, so i might update this later.
Also new is Tool's 10,000 days, you either like James Maynard Keenan or not. His lyrics and musical direction is, some would say a fusion of art and gore. So you have been warned.
Suggested Tracks:
Stadium Arcadium / Hump de hump (superb funky guitar by John Frusciante) - RHCP
