it's no secret that Malaysian drivers are "bullish" on the road and basically if you don't have the grapefruits (pardon the fruits, ladies) you'd still be stuck in a jam at ulu klang or a roundabout in the Cheras now. Blaring horns and drivers cursing in all languages possible does not increase your confidence in driving KL roads.
i have not been driving in KL for a year and half; remarkably i still remember how to use my left leg (automatics are still for pansies, BTW i'm a pansy in auckland). In auckland i can be considered courteous, no switching lanes, model driver; fucking throw that attributes outta the rear window cus it ain't worth jack shit when you're trying to get into the rothmans roundabout.
it took me 5 minutes of driving without the fucked up give way rule {.: cars turning left must give way to opposite traffic :.) to get back into the swing of things and the neccesary cursing with the thumb stiched onto the horn. I'M BACK!. i tackled the rothmans roundabout on the 2nd day, KL's Sultan Ismail during peak traffic, swerving and cutting in at 1Utama, double parking at the always congested banks.
I FEEL DE-PANSI-FIED!
