losing spatial relationship?

i hastily snapped this pre-exhibition photo the day before it will be marked (it's tomorrow) under a warm spotlight source behind me. there shouldn't be any light but then i wouldn't be able to take the picture without light, now would i?

the plan before the holidays was to include a bean bag with 2 low rise tables draped with satin cloth. feedback prompted me to change (the wonders of installing early) -

1_ originally it had been in a corner but the corner was so weird that the curator of the gallery had mentioned it would be best to be against a wall rather than a pointy edge.

2_ because i had decided to include the couch, it provided a modernist feel to the room, coupled with the equipment, the wooden tables are way outta place. AGREED.

3_ i had intended to hide away the wires and a/v leads but because i had embarked on a dark storyline, a clean setting just will not do.

i actually learnt something from this exercise.

year end MA exhibition
