+ a depressing time of year +

This is my depressing time of year irregardless of working or studying; this is the time when i actually think that i've spent too much and hence have no $$ to pay my yearly insurance cover [2 of them - yes im paranoid]. this is the time of year when i want to just wander off and not think of any bloody thing. this is the time of year when i think there's definitely more to life than this.

[CRASH]

thats me falling from grace. like i've mentioned on the last post, i think i stuffed my seminar up, i'm not thinking about it, what's done is done. so fuck it. i've got reduced hours this semester which means less and very much less $$ than previous semesters. that however doesn't mean my responsibility for the module has lessen, if it fucks up i'm still to blame. so its kind of depressing.i miss home and i think that's the most depressing feeling of all, you keep reminding yourself that 2 years in a short amount of time but its not when you're 1 year and 6 months away. The assessement dealines look too ridiculous to mention, again - too much theory & writing bla bla bla and not enough practical work. i mean as a designer, the work looking good far superceedes a literature review of how the work relates to old master designers, theorticians, psycho-analysis, behavioural-studies. i think by making the work over theorised, makes the work less desirable to acheive. when watching a show on the telly, do you theorise the entire show? ..fuck no.. it's just show and people enjoy it because it provides entertainment. so when people look at your project, do you think they're theorising your work or just enjoying it? and if the work is crap, do you think there's enjoyment?

[2 YEARS IS A SHORT TIME]

yeah, right.
