Public Apathy

here we go again, really can't this happen after February? i'm going to be really bored during the Lunar New Year. dammit.

So lets see. The public is being blamed this time for apathy; towards the peddlar that is. We do not think its a crime to buy from these peddlars, we view piracy as something that can be tolerated and we show compassion when the peddlers are caught.

This is funny, heh. rape is a crime, especially henious when it's your own flesh & blood. snatch theiving is a crime especially henious when the victim is left to die just so the thieves can shoot up. piracy is a crime, especially henious when the end user gets to enjoy hours of continous entertainment (games/movies/music) for a fraction of the price. Are you kidding me? it's a crime to bloody well contribute to the already FAT entertainment industry. So what if i don't feel like sitting in a cinema with 80 other people who share the same feeling , not only do i have to cramp into a puny seat, i have to spread my legs like my groin needs air.

isn't that how we were brought up? tolerant of each other. i guess we as consumers are tolerant towards the peddlars because they(the peddlars) have a living to make. how tolerant would you be if someone decides the slammer is best for you whilst your 5 other siblings depend on you? im not saying that all peddlars have dependants or are of that situation but the mere concept or moral behind toleration is at stake. a lot of people know that i can be intolerant, but that would be deemed too racist now wouldn't it?

do i really need to write about this after a 19 year old kid got shot for selling VCD's? it really works both ways, the enforcement really only got their firearms after they were severly injured in a raid. Shouldn't there be guidelines, licenses, aptitude tests before handing over a firearm to ordinary enforcement agents? heck even the RTD officers have guns. So really, i sympathise with the peddlars why? because for the next 4 months NORMAL working citizens would have to spend their hard earned cash for entertainment when the money could have been saved for a university fund.
