8.9 on the richter scale from Indon. DEVASTATION to Penang(Malaysia), Maldives, Chennai (India), Sri Lanka and Phuket (Thailand). Imagine out on the sea with 6 footers ... but that's what you get fucking with mother earth. CNN & BBC were reporting that it was a seabed quake thus causing a tidal wave headed towards India, barrel-rolling minute islands on the way over.
8.1 on the richter sacle for New Zealand too, blasted the south island in wee hours of 3am before Christmas. i guess now would be a good time to build an underground shelter.
